Our nursery begun operation as a small family business in the 80’s with the main activity being the propagation of fruit trees for commercial orchards. Year after year we have marketed ten’s of thousands of olives, citrus, loquat, avocado, pome and stone fruit trees. Through time, we have managed to offer new species and cultivars that have helped Cypriot growers to stay in touch with the international trends in fruit production.
In this way along with our persistence for reliability and quality we have successfully built-up an excellent name in the home market and have become a leading nursery.
By 2001, we made a decision to expand to propagating ornamental plants for the home garden and gradually reform our traditional business activity. While growing more common plants in the beginning, we have made a conscious effort to bring into our range the more exotic looks of species like the Strelitzia and Heliconia.
Based on a strategic plan we aim to enrich further propagation of plants of the above-mentioned and relating families so as to push for specialization and thus make our operation more efficient.
Alongside this objective we cultivate partnerships with other growers in order to complement our product offering since; our target is to be established as an exporting business to the international market.
Our success is based on continuous learning, seeking fresh information and research about our plants and activities and fruitful cooperation with other growers, government and academics. There is a continuous effort to stay ahead of developments in the sector regarding introduction of new plants, growing methods and technology.
